Terry Bozzio Drums is a new collection of SampleTank 3 high definition instruments. It a huge library of 1.7 gigabytes with more than 1,800 samples of drum kits and 350 meticulously recorded loops.

All these sounds have been played by Terry Bozzio, the idiosyncratic drummer whose hot performances with Frank Zappa, UK, Jeff Beck and Missing Persons span 4 decades of appearances in classic albums.

This is because the entire library has been recorded by Ken Scott, the master producer and engineer who worked with Terry Bozzio on the classic Missing Person album, ""Spring Session M"", which contains the hits ""Walking in LA"", "" Destination Unknown ""and"" Words "". The founder of IK United States and executive producer, Dave Kerzner, joined the two legends for the first time since 1980, especially for this project.

Terry Bozzio is known for his huge drum kits and his melodic style of unique interpretation. With the Terry Bozzio Drums, we've worked hard to make sure you feel like you're sitting on your drummer's throne: you get 16 playable drum kit instruments with a complete kit that 2 drums, multi-joint drummer, 6 Roto Highly stylized toms (each played with 4 joints), hi-hat and various unusual and exotic percussion elements that things like stacked saucers, Chinese cymbals and more. And for the most realistic playing experience, all drum kits have been recorded at 8 different speeds with up to 8 rotating strokes per speed!

The drums are mapped using an extended General MIDI mapping so you can mix and match items from the Terry Bozzio Drums collection kits with items from other SampleTank 3 factory drum kits or from other drum libraries available in the Custom Shop as kits Neil Peart or Billy Cobham.

The Terry Bozzio Drums also 350 audio loops played by himself. All have been organized into 12 instruments and are in the style of the songs of their favorite albums. And due to ST3 STRETCH engine, you can constantly change the tempo of these loops without altering the tuning. You can even mix these devastating loops with one-touch samples played via MIDI to create ultra-realistic drum tracks and rhythms that sound truly natural.
