Every sound system and acoustic environment is different—so mixing is like trying to score a goal while the goalposts are moving. But TRACT System Calibration is the “great equalizer”: it reads the room, generates correction curves, auto-corrects EQ issues, and time-aligns the system.

TRACT integrates with the industry-standard Smaart audio analysis software to pinpoint room problems—then fixes them. And by fixing the room, you won’t need to fix it in the mix.

Beyond “Sweet Spot” to “Sweet Area”

Unlike room tuning systems that create a single “sweet spot,” TRACT can capture up to 8 response snapshots, and then merge them into a single correction curve that compensates for sound issues over the widest possible area.

Full integration with Smaart

TRACT integrates with Rational Acoustics’ Smaart (Sound Measurement Acoustical Analysis Real Time) software v9 including Suite, RT, LE (purchased separately), for industry-standard, high-precision measurement and analysis.

Correct Room EQ

TRACT helps wayward audio by creating a corrective FIR EQ curve. Choose a minimal-phase curve for lowest latency and low phase distortion, or a linear-phase curve for perfect phase coherence.

Customize the Curve

Supplement the FIR curve with up to 8 bands of IIR EQ filters that offer a variety of shapes—bell, low/high shelves, flat-tops, tilt EQ with variable-frequency pivot point, Butterworth and Linkwitz-Riley curves, and more.

Sub Zoom for Maximum Low Frequency Impact

To reduce low-frequency muddiness and lack of definition, engage the sub zoom function. This lets you take a closer look at the low frequencies while phase-aligning subs for maximum low-frequency impact.
