The original Pultec EQs have a well-earned reputation for sonic purity. Acclaimed producer/engineer Jack Joseph Puig has two of the finest examples of these rare, hand-built EQs in his studio. We modeled the units under his guidance for fidelity to the analog originals.

Lows without mud, highs without harshness: Mix fat, punchy bass, drums, and synths with the EQP-1A’s three high-cut frequencies, along with separate boost and attenuation controls for 4 low frequencies and 7 high frequencies (with bandwidth parameter).
