Recorded and mixed with an array of vintage gear, including tape machines, cassette recorders, rare classic microphones, 12” vinyl and boutique analog and lofi processors, this collection provides a rich, textured sound.

Each sample is brimming with character, capturing the imperfections and authentic warmth found on classic records. With Drift, you can step outside the ordinary, infusing your music with a unique, one-of-a-kind sound palette that enhances your signature sound.

Take a listen to a selection of Drift’s 300+ included presets / loops. Each preset has been recorded directly from Triaz’s master output, with no external effects, mixing or mastering applied.

Any musical elements heard in the beats are part of the presets themselves and programmed within the plugin.

Rhythmic impact

Recorded across 7 locations at some of finest studios in the world, we carefully selected and creatively used ere-defining vintage microphones and vibey analog gear to ensure an authentic, unmistakable character. The drums have been further mixed and treated with equal creativity, using tape machines, cassette recorders, iconic 12-bit drum samplers, 12” vinyl, lush spring reverbs and expensive tube gear.

Vintage aesthetics

Authenticity doesn’t happen by accident, and we’ve gone to every length to ensure Drift delivers the punchiest and most authentic lofi tones.

By utilizing vintage microphones, tape machines, cassette recorders, lofi pedals, and a range of analog gear, we’ve meticulously crafted each sound to embody the true essence of authentic lofi aesthetics.

Our dedication to precision and authenticity means every sample is infused with the rich, nostalgic character that can only come from the finest vintage equipment.

The sound of tape

We’ve captured the unique warmth and depth of analog tape using a range of classic tape recorders. Multi-track drums were recorded on Studer tape machines for their rich, warm fidelity, Ampex ATR-102s for their crisp high-end clarity, 1980s Tascam 4-tracks for their distinctive character, and even handheld dictaphones for their lofi, intimate charm.

Each piece of gear adds its own sonic signature, ensuring that every sample in Drift embodies the true, nostalgic essence of tape-recorded sound.

Cut to 12″ Vinyl

We cut over 1,000 samples directly to 12″ vinyl using a Neumann VMS-70 cutting lathe, capturing the distinctive quality and texture that only vinyl can offer.

This process imparts an unmistakable character to each sound, enhancing the vintage tone with the classic crackle and depth that are hallmarks of pre-digital recordings.

The result is a collection of samples brimming with authenticity and nostalgia, with a rich, analog sound that will make your music stand out.

300+ presets, endless creativity

Loading Drift into Triaz lets you to fully tweak and easily customize the drums to match your unique creative vision. With over 300 meticulously crafted presets, you can effortlessly layer, process, mix, and refine your drums to achieve perfect results. Enjoy complete control over every element and easily export your beats as audio or MIDI with a single click.

Drift is compatible with both the free Triaz Player and the full Triaz version, and all 13,000 included samples are available as standard WAV files for use in your favorite DAW or sampler.

Triaz Expansion

Drift can be loaded into our flagship drum production plugin Triaz or Triaz Player as an official drum expansion. Triaz Player is completely free!

When loaded into Triaz / Triaz Player, Drift gives you access to 300+ finely crafted beat presets utilizing thousands of samples, alongside expansive sound design tools for layering, mixing, processing and refining your beats.

Sample Pack

With Drift, you’ll also get access to all 13,000 sounds in WAV format – with all drums neatly organized into folders by drum type and character / style.

We recognize that some producers have specific drum workflows they prefer to maintain, and we’ve got you covered. All sounds in the included sample pack version are easily loadable into your preferred DAW or sampler of choice!
