This TAMA S.L.P. Expressive Hammered Steel snare drum features a 14"x6" 1.2mm hammered steel shell. The Shallow depth hammering, glossy finish, and black nickel hardware deliver tonal complexity and sophisticated look. Outfitted with 2.3mm triple flange hoops and Starclassic Carbon Steel snare wires, this snare drum offers a crisp, dry attack with sensitive articulation to perfectly complement the naturally bright and clear steel shell. All of these features come together to create a uniquely musical and balanced snare drum, capable of being a workhorse snare in a wide variety of music styles.

20-strand Starclassic Carbon Steel Snare Wire

Starclassic snares offer several unique, highly useful features. When adding more tension to the wires, the strands press closer to the snare head. We've also redesigned the angle of the end plates and added thinner straps to obtain optimum response.
