This S.L.P. Mod Bubinga “Artist Model” is a special collaboration with Clay Aeschliman of Polyphia. Based on the regular LBU127, this version features an EVANS Genera HD Dry batter head for a tight and fat sound with a custom Galactic Purple finish, perfectly complementing Clay’s sound & style. In higher tunings, the smaller 12” diameter shell delivers a full & strong sound thanks to Bubinga and its unique 7” depth.

The HD Dry is an thick double-ply head with a built-in ring mute that delivers a tight and fat sound, emphasizing the dark & rich tone of the Bubinga.

20-strand Starclassic Carbon Steel Snare Wire

Starclassic snares offer several unique, highly useful features. When adding more tension to the wires, the strands press closer to the snare head. We've also redesigned the angle of the end plates and added thinner straps to obtain optimum response.
