Shell Composition

Formed from multiple plies of bonded hardwood, Midtown's drum shells feature six plies of Asian White Poplar to create a single air resonance chamber for projection, attack, and optimum tonal power.

Its 45° Bearing Edge is contacts each drum head with pinpoint precision, forging much of the drum’s rich tonal character.
