At the heart of the cab is a Celestion G12H-75 Creamback 16 ohm speaker and a Celestion Alnico Gold 16 ohm speaker wired in parallel for a nominal 8 ohms. This combination of alnico and ceramic speakers give the 2×12 cabinet a huge sonic platform that delivers on all styles.
The two different styles of speaker fill sonic holes that may exist when using only one type of speaker in a cabinet. This combination also gives you two different mic’ing options when recording or playing live. The Morgan 2×12 CAB – Gold cabinet gives you the best of clean chime while still having the authority to deliver the dynamic punch that overdriven tones need. As with all Morgan cabinets, oversized 12-gauge speaker wire is soldered between the speaker and terminal, assuring you capture every ounce of valuable tone.
