Manuel Rodriguez Ecologia E-65 4/4 Scale Classical w/Armrest Spruce/Walnut

The Manuel Rodriguez ECOLOGIA series is based on the traditions of European guitar making of our great-grandfathers. At that time, only the tonewood that grew on the doorstep and was available was used. It was only much later that international trade, including in tropical woods, replaced the local woods that had been tried and tested for decades.

At its core, the series is based on these old traditions and is therefore ecologically up to date. Not a single tropical wood is used. Instead, European woods such as spruce, walnut, maple and acacia are used. In addition, only water-based eco-matt varnish is used. This overall ecologically sustainable design sets the ECOLOGIA series apart from other guitars.

In terms of sound, the instruments, which are hand-made in Europe, are moderately tuned and designed for a balanced sound. This is ensured, among other things, by the traditional neck construction with dovetail joint, which guarantees not only high stability but also very good vibration transmission.

A special feature of all 4/4 guitars by Manuel Rodríguez is the GEWA armrest, which offers two decisive advantages: Its rounded shape ensures a particularly pleasant playing feel and allows the top to swing freely over its entire surface, as it prevents dampening by the right arm resting on the guitar.

More sound, more comfort.

Hannabach 815HTC strings, made in Germany, are fitted at the factory and perfectly round off the sound concept of this series.

The instruments of the Manuel Rodriguez ECOLOGIA series are available in all five standard sizes down to the small 1/4 guitar.
