The Super-Hi 33 pairs the famously clean and responsive Hiwatt power section with a cascaded gain preamp. Based on the Custom Super-Hi amplifier, this circuit was designed to be the ultimate modern gain machine. Two channels with gain and volume controls, plus an independent 'Super Hi' boost to push them into meltdown, puts four levels of gain and volume at your disposal. The Super-Hi 33 uses 6V6 tubes in the power section for solid but tight bass response at lower volumes. With all that cascaded filth in the preamp, we added a clean and quiet post-preamp FX loop to keep your modulation and time-based effects clean and clear. A true gain monster.
