The M-260E Deluxe offers upgraded appointments and features to the M concert-sized acoustic guitars in the Guild 200 Series. Inspired by the flagship USA-made* M-20, the M-260E offers the same reduced body dimensions and shorter scale length that have made Guild M models the choice of many players throughout the brand’s 70-year history—from folk singer-songwriter Nick Drake to indie-pop hitmaker Beabadoobee.

Archback

Guild was the first guitar manufacturer to introduce back arching on flat-top acoustic instruments—and this defining build technique sets Guild guitars apart. An archback creates:

• Tone Projection – The deeper and contoured body chamber increases projection.
• Weight Reduction – Having no back bracing reduces weight and improves resonance.
• Strength – Arching creates structure and strength, adding durability.

M Concert Body Shape

First introduced in 1957 for the M-20, Guild’s M Concert body shape has stood the test of time. This acoustic shape is comfortable for smaller players and makes the M-260E Deluxe a great songwriting companion.

Exotic Woods

A solid Sitka spruce top is paired with striped ebony back and sides, which gives the guitar an exotic look. The intricate grain patterns are reminiscent of rosewood but slightly darker with complementary brown striping.

200 Deluxe Trim Level

The Deluxe trim package includes a bound fingerboard, gloss body and satin neck finishes, additional body inlay, mother-of-pearl headstock and rosette inlay, and Guild Vintage 18 open-gear tuning machines with an 18:1 gear ratio.

Additional Premium Materials

The nut and saddle are crafted from real bone. The fingerboard is rosewood.

Fishman GT-1 Pickup System

An integrated Fishman-designed GT-1 pickup system with Volume and Tone controls faithfully reproduces the guitar’s acoustic sound when it is amplified. The controls are conveniently mounted inside the soundhole for easy access, and no drilling is required for this pickup system, preserving the instrument’s beauty and tonal integrity.
