The library was recorded in the private studio of Ellis in the Hollywood Hills using his personal collection of instruments containing more than 300 drums, from traditional to esoteric. The best microphones and preamps were used to capture these instruments that are unique in their class, not only for their super-clean high fidelity but also to preserve and reproduce the unique character and personality of each piece.
