Simple and simple, three outstanding virtual solo contrabasses.
Chris Hein - Solo ContraBass EXtended is the fourth member of the solo strings family of Chris Hein. Like the solo violin, the solo viola and the solo cello, Chris Hein - Solo ContraBass eclipses everything you've ever heard before. There has never been such a complex sample library that focuses on just a single string instrument. Three different contrabasses, meticulously and meticulously recorded, accurately reworked and assembled into a convenient contact player instrument with an elaborate, customizable user interface and comprehensive scripting, Chris Hein - Solo ContraBass EXtended offers the highest quality sound and incredibly realistic articulations.
Producer Chris Hein has brought more than 30 years of sampling experience to this library, giving users the ultimate in flexibility, configurability and practical value.
Chris Hein Solo ContraBass EXtended is a bundle of three fantastic sounding solo contrabass instruments. The recordings were recorded by experienced studio musicians on selected instruments with special timbres. The virtual implementation was optimized for even better playability and performance (EX Instruments). This will save your computer resources and you will still have all the basic articulations for nuance-rich game available.
The following instruments are available:
And the library goes beyond that. For sound designers, composers of movie and game soundtracks as well as experimental musicians, Chris Hein - Solo ContraBass has special effect sounds, extraordinary articulations with sometimes extreme dynamics such as Flautando, Flageolets and Ponticello. These special effect sounds are also supported by the integrated tenfold DSP effect rack. Complex sound clusters, dense atmospheres and surreal soundscapes can be created from a single contrabass and create incredible moments of tension.
With the Ensemble Maker, the solo instrument can be easily transformed into an ensemble, to which all articulations of the library are available. Or you use the multinationals created by Chris Hein, in which a distribution of the voices in the panorama and fine tuning has already been made.
Chris Hein - Solo ContraBass will cater to discerning bass guitar lovers as well as composers who need more than just outstanding samples, and who value explicit detail, a complete set of playing styles, and a flexible adaptation to the preferred method of working.
On the one hand, the instruments offer an elaborate sample set, in which all of the numerous articulations are ready to play on the keyboard. Thanks to the modular approach of the library, however, significantly reduced variants can be created in which the loading times are short and the memory requirement is low.
Finally, in the clean-start configuration, the instruments are first loaded into memory in a sustain variant, while all other articulations and functions that consume resources can simply be reloaded at the push of a button, and only when they are needed. So you can work smoothly and efficiently on compact and mobile production systems with lean storage requirements.
As with all Chris Hein productions, they deliberately opted for close-microfonation in a dry recording room. The dry sound image of the library, in combination with the double reverberation section based on convolution of the sample engine, allows the instrument to be optimally adapted to the most diverse contexts. Separate folding units for the corpus sound (body) and the room impression (Room) allow the creation of an almost arbitrary spatial impression, ranging from intimate proximity to the large orchestra hall. In contrast to the fixed spatiality of several competing products, Chris Hein - Solo ContraBass is extraordinarily variable in terms of sound and can also be combined with almost any other library.
