Different Sound Styles And Variations For Maximum Diversity

The full-automatic weapons (Assault rifles, machine guns, submachine guns) come with sounds of single shots, bursts and full-auto, each of them in four differently designed styles (DISTANT | HEAVY | MODERN | CLOSE) to give you a quick and convenient selection for your purposed scene. Each file contains four sounds to offer you some diversity for your sound choice and a less repetitive soundscape.

18-Channel Multitrack

Assault Weapons has been recorded with an 18-channel microphone setup. This enables you to place your shooter anywhere you want (far, distant, front, back, side). The 18 separate channels are only included in the Assault Weapons Construction Kit. In the Designed edition, we created pre-designed sounds in various different styles by using the 18 different channels.

Mix the different microphones exactly the way you want to achieve exactly the sound you’re after. For example: you need a more mechanical sound? Simply boost the mic that was attached directly to the weapon.

Microphone Comparison

Some of the channels we recorded for ASSAULT WEAPONS. No processing like compression, eq-ing, filtering etc. applied – you hear raw recordings of different microphones. Due to the huge size of the recordings, not all microphone channels you hear in the video made it to the final ASSAULT WEAPONS Construction Kit.
