Animals Pedals Surfing Bear Overdrive Pedal V2

The Surfing Bear Overdrive is the most basic distortion overdrive pedal needed by guitarists of our time.
From clean boost to light crunch to bright and warm drive tones, this tone can be used for both rhythm and lead.
The new Surfing Bear Overdrive makes it easier to replace the battery than before, while placing the foot switch in front to improve playability.
In addition, the beautiful pedal design unique to Animals Pedal can now be placed even larger and more beautifully.
There are no major differences in sound or functionality, but the overall range of timbres has been expanded and tweaked to create the best sound with more amps and guitars.
It is a tone that is flat and has a wide dynamic range, yet the mids are exciting, which is required for guitar tones.
You can use it alone, boost other distortions and amps with Surfing Bear Overdrive, or push Surfing Bear Overdrive with another distortion or booster.
As a circuit, the base is the legendary drive pedal "808". However, even if it is reproduced and reproduced as it is, it will not be the "current sound".
The tone that guitarists today need to have a wide dynamics range, responsiveness with variable gain in the volume of the guitar, and clarity that allows you to instantly see the composition of the chords. Not only is it clear, but the balance between attack and sustain is also important.
Surfing Bear Overdrive is a clear, forward-looking distortion that has enough sustain, doesn't get too noisy when cutting, and doesn't bury the sound. Combining these elements, you can lightly customize the tone with the TONE knob.
The VOL knob has a high output level, and a clean boost is possible by lowering the DRIVE knob. Conversely, setting the DRIVE knob high will give you a mild, warm tone reminiscent of the legendary “808” tone.
The timbre is always clear and there is no sensation of muffled sound.
The foot switch is true bypass. It is powered by a 9V battery or a standard center minus DC 9V adapter.
