As the latest addition to our family of modeled hardware processors, the API Collection carries on the Waves legacy of advanced audio technology. - Seven frequency centers per band
- Reciprocal and repeatable filtering

- Bands 1 and 4 offer shelf/peak switching
- "Proportional Q" narrows filter bandwidth at extremes of boost/cut
- High headroom with +30dB clip level
API 560 10-Band Graphic Equalizer
- One-octave centered frequencies from 31Hz to 16kHz
- 12dB of boost/cut per band
- "Proportional Q" narrows filter bandwidth at extremes of boost/cut
- Provides additional resolution in the critical +/-4dB region
- Clip level greater than +28dBu
API 2500 Stereo Compressor
- Three-position "Thrust" high-pass filter
- "Variable Link" of left and right channels, ranging from independent operation through to 100% link
- Three "Variable Link" filter types
- Three compression modes include Soft, Medium and Hard Knee
- Six release settings - five fixed and one continuous variable from 50ms to 3s
- Includes "Feed-Forward" or "Feed-Backward" selector switch
