DigiTech HardWire TL-2

The TL-2 is an analog metal distortion pedal that produces many different metal tones with the use of the flexible 3 band tone controls and Tight/Loose mode switch. In the tight mode, the TL-2 produces a tight low end focus perfect for modern, progressive metal. The loose setting produces modern, loose low end grind tones.

Unleash raw gain with the TL-2 Metal Distortion. The TL-2 Metal Distortion has two high-gain amp tone circuits at your disposal. Tight Mode gives you a responsive, percussive low end with smooth high frequencies. Loose Mode features a low EQ that best suits detuned guitars and produces a massive amount of low end thump. As with all HardWire pedals, the TL-2 is crafted from premium all-metal components to perform night after night, tour after tour.

Applications

Tight, Percussive Low End

To get a tight, modern metal tone:

1. Connect the HardWire TL-2 Metal Distortion after your wah and before other pedals and then into the input of your amp.
2. Set controls to:
- Mode: Tight
- Level: 12 o’clock
- Low: 3 o’clock
- High: 12 o’clock
- Gain: 3 o’clock

3. Engage TL-2 as desired.
Detuned Over-the-top low end

Create a wall of low end:

1. Connect the HardWire TL-2 Metal Distortion after your wah and before other pedals and then into the input of your amp.
2. Set controls to:
- Mode: Loose
- Level: 12 o’clock
- Low: 2 o’clock
- High: 3 o’clock
- Gain: 3 o’clock

3. Engage the TL-2 as desired.
