The Allen & Heath Mix Wizard 3:MON is a 16 input, 12 bus monitoring console that addresses the demand for personal headphone monitoring is small and mid-size venues such as clubs, auditoriums, halls, houses-of-worship, etc. 16 mono inputs are comprised of balanced XLR-female mic/line inputs with Split outputs on XLR-male connections. Inserts on all mono channels are provided for sending channel signal to external processors.
The 12 mix outputs may be used on mono or stereo pairs. The 12 bus outs send input channel signal to send to stage monitors, personal monitors, IFB, etc. All channels feature a musical four-band EQ section and individual level send control dials for each of the 12 bus outputs. The Mix Wizard 3:MON features a rotating connector section for mounting is a standard 19-inch rack.
Mechanically identical to other MixWizards, with individual card and nutted pot
construction and Quick Change Connector pod, the WZ3 Monitor presents the monitor
engineer with a compact, easy to use desk capable of mixing a large number of wedge
and in-ear mixes. Its 12 mixes can be globally assigned as mono or stereo, and each
stereo mix is provided with stereo AFL signal checking.
