Desk / rack mount stereo source console

Designed for mixing multiple stereo sources, the new WZ3:20S benefits from several design
improvements, including a new mic preamp, advanced grounding scheme, more responsive 4-
band EQ, and the addition of a dedicated mono output fader for use as a mono sum of LR, or
as the AUX 6 master - ideal for AUX-fed subs and dedicated Center-Channel mixes. The dual
stereo channels now have a sub-panel switch, which allows the TRS ‘A’ inputs to route direct
to the LR buss, plus, the ‘B’ inputs have been upgraded to XLR.

Now upgraded to WZ3 status, the 20S remains a favourite mixer for small broadcast studios, internet radio stations , project studios and stereo sub-mixing anywhere. Featuring the new WZ3 preamp and responsive EQ, the WZ3 20S provides 12 channels with no fewer than 4 mono and 18 stereo sources.

On the Allen & Heath WZ3 20S, 8 dual stereo input channels are provided, each with TRS jack 'A' and XLR 'B' inputs. These may be mixed together into the channel or mode switched to provide up to 16 independent sources to the mix - ideal for multi-stereo keyboard and recording applications. All channels feature mute switch, EQ Bypass switch, signal present LED and 4" smooth action faders.

Mono Inputs
4 mic / line channels with individual phantom power, 6 auxes, 4 band EQ with sweepable LoMid and HiMid, direct out and insert.

Dual Stereo Channels
The WZ3 20S has 8 dual stereo input channels. A [TRS] and B [XLR] jacks have separate gain controls and on switch. Sources A and B can be selected individually or mixed together, allowing simultaneous connection of up to 16 stereo devices. 4 band Cut/Boost EQ is provided on each stereo channel.

6 Auxiliary Sends
6 auxiliaries, switchable pre/post fade in blocks: 1-4, 5-6. Aux masters are rotary controls with TRS outputs. The aux busses can be monitored in mono or related stereo pairs.

PSU
High performance internal switched-mode power supply. Universal mains input voltage. There is also a connection for the optional MPS-12 rack mounted power supply.

Rack Ready
Rack ears are fitted and obscured by the side trim when used as a desk top mixer as pictured above. The connection panel can be rotated 90 degrees for use as a rack mount model with the connectors facing rear.
