Product Description for the PSP Audioware 2445
PSP 2445 EMT is a reverb processor plug-in (VST, AAX and RTAS for Windows; AudioUnit, VST, AAX and RTAS for Mac OSX) inspired by two legendary early digital age reverberators: the EMT 244 and the EMT 245. PSP thoroughly researched how to bring the specific features of those simple, yet very musical sounding reverbs to life as a plug-in. We then improved from the originals with a handy set of parameters to control details of the sound and mix the reverb not available in the original hardware. The PSP 2445 is capable of processing using one selected engine or both of them simultaneously.
PSP is the sole developer and manufacturer of the PSP 2445 EMT. Functionality and sound of the PSP 2445 EMT have been endorsed and approved by EMT Studiotechnik GmbH. PSP is responsible for all customer support.
The PSP 2445 EMT immediately found its way into my productions and mixes. My favorite reverbs hug the track in a way that is supportive and not distracting. Using this plug-in feels like I have the EMT units in the equipment room. Rich, complex and dense, this reverb plugin lives permanently in my mix template.Greg Wells, record producer, songwriter, musician, and mix engineer

The PSP 2445 is an exceptional reverb plugin. I remember seeing the original in all the mastering rooms. It was a really high quality verb that few could afford. The depth and natural decay of the PSP 2445 plugin is impressive. They matched perfectly the original and actually I think they improved it. It's no surprise, I love so many of their other plugins.

The PSP 2445 is a welcome addition to any plug In arsenal. It faithfully reproduces, and goes beyond, the EMT 244 and 245 classic algorithmic reverbs which were EMT's digital version of a plate reverb. These super musical reverb units are just gorgeous on vocals, guitars, drums and percussion, synths, bass, strings, nearly anything you can throw at it. These reverbs are based on tried and true designs that were made to just sound great in a recording studio and the PSP 2445 does not disappoint. It's at home for subtle short doubler type effects as well as long beautifully decaying reverbs - something I find difficult to achieve with a plug in. If you're looking for a very useful extremely musical versatile plugin, look no further.

Awesome new/old reverb from PSP. Immediate joy and sense of belonging - perhaps it is nostalgia as I used the hardware in the 80s in Hansa mixroom. A wonderful recreation/improvement. Immediately inspiring in my modular rig. Well done team. https : //soundcloud.com/pspaudioware/psp-2445-test-by-gareth-jones

The PSP 2445 has become my new favorite reverb plugin. Not only does it sound smooth on the longer settings, but the short decay/long reflection setting gives an excellent vintage doubling effect that sounds so good on electric guitars that most other reverbs just can’t seem to get. PSP has done it again with an excellent simulation of a beloved effect.

It's not the "quality" of this verb (which it has) it's the totally unique and unusual sound that sets it apart. There are plenty of high quality reverbs out there, whose differences are only in nuance. The PSP 2445 is different from them all, this is "A Rare Reverb." (C) 2016

Once again PSP have created a plugin that I'm sure will become your "Go To" reverb effect. I've not played with the hardware version for many years, but after 5 minutes the sound was immediately familiar - it's sonic character sits comfortably between the best Spring Reverbs and the plates & chambers that are today's common production tools. I'm very keen on the very short "ambience" that you can easily create. They seem to add a live space to enhance voices and drums. With the superb PSP SpringBox and now the new PSP 2445 really are making some superb verbs.
