Pioneer DDJ-ERGO

The DDJ-ERGO-V brings simplicity into both setup and performance, without compromising sound quality or features. Portable dimensions and sharp styling are complemented by a single bus powered cable connection to your laptop.
All major controls and effects are intuitively positioned and ready on the first press of a button. Quick access features include four-deck control, filters, FX, Hot Cues and sample banks with loop sampling too. Features you may not expect at this price point, such as high quality audio circuitry from the Pioneer professional mixer range and dual positioning options, mean the DDJ-ERGO-V will have wide appeal.

The DDJ-ERGO-V comes bundled with Atomix Productions Virtual DJ Limited Edition, which is ready to use straight from the box. Packed with features that even top of the range software can't boast, Virtual DJ LE lets DJs scratch, mix and add modern remix effects to your music and video sets without paying for an upgrade. On top of the four decks with autosync, you get instant access to eight samples, smart loops and much more. Automatic beatgrids, high-detail waveforms and a software interface that matches the controller will make it easy to keep track of the mix. A new approach to the DDJ-ERGO-V adds a visual dimension to DJing. Pulse Control uses lights to highlight what features are in play, how accurate your beat matching is and which track is loaded.

Update:

Pioneer's DDJ-ERGO-V, currently bundled with the "Virtual DJ Limited Edition" software by Atomix Productions, is now compatible with Serato's "Serato DJ Intro" software, with the updated version that became available as a free software download mid December 2011. Users of the DDJ-ERGO-V must have the latest firmware version 1.10 to use the Serato DJ Intro software.

Bundled with Virtual DJ LE for DJing right out of the box

The DDJ-ERGO comes packaged with Atomix Productions’ Virtual DJ Limited Edition with a Pioneer original GUI and a broad range of performance functions straight from the controller.

The DDJ-ERGO boasts plentiful dedicated knobs and buttons for all your favourite functions, including four-deck mixing, filters, sample decks and loop recording. This makes it possible to access all the most important controls instantly without pressing the Shift button, which is only required for DJs looking for even more advanced performance features and settings.

Plus the MIDI output makes the DDJ-ERGO compatible with most other DJ software on the market, Traktor users can apply the included TSI settings file to control their favourite software.

NEW! Pulse control adds a visual dimension for precision performance

The newly developed Pulse Control uses light to give a visual representation of pitch, beat, effects and which decks are in use. Built-in LEDs enhance your mixing precision and add a new dimension to the art of DJing.

The main features of Pulse Control include:

Mix Pulse: A blue LED on the jog wheel shows how close the phase of the mix is during a mix. The bigger the difference in pitch, the weaker the light. The closer the match, the more intense the light shines.

Beat Pulse: LEDs in the channel faders match the beat of the track in play. Plus the strength of the light reflects output levels, so you always know if a track is still in the mix.

Launch Pulse: A red light travels from the Load button towards the Jog Wheel to indicate when a track has been loaded.

FX Pulse: Various light patterns on the Jog Wheel clearly show which FX DJs have applied.

Boasts features from Pioneer’s pro range for top quality sound and ease of operability

The DDJ-ERGO boasts many features that are unusual at this price point, including the 115mm Jog Wheel from the Pioneer pro-DJ range. The controller has also inherited the same layout as the popular DDJ-T1 and DDJ-S1 controllers. Plus the controller employs the same audio circuitry as Pioneer’s professional mixers for the master out terminal, ensuring a clear, powerful reproduction with no sound degradation.Innovative laptop integration keeps screen in DJs’ line of sight at all times

Pioneer’s laptop dock design enabled DJs to place laptop keyboards underneath the controller to use as little space as possible and keep the screen in view while using the controls. The DDJ-ERGO can also be adapted to sitting or standing positions; simply set the controller flat on any surface by unscrewing the removable legs.

Completely USB-powered for an even easier set up.The DDJ-ERGO is fully operational from a USB bus through your computer, eliminating the need for an external power supply. There LEDs shine bright and the audio output levels are powerful and loud with no compromise.

Unique “Delight” design concept suits every environment

KRK RP5G2 Rokit 5 Two-Way Active Powered Monitor

The KRK RokitG2 Series takes value-priced monitors to a new performance level. All of the great stuff that Rokit’s have been known for (front-firing bass port, soft-domed tweeter, glass aramid composite yellow cone) are still there, but the G2 Rokit’s feature refined voicing and a new curved baffle that looks great, reduces diffraction and provides even better monitoring accuracy. Studio Monitor Series from KRK Systems. For years the Rokit series has been a popular choice for accurate monitoring in studios large and small. Now the all new Generation 2 RoKit provides a new standard for even better performance and accuracy, raising the bar once again.

No Pain With Gain

Why compromise gain structure to achieve a comfortable listening level? As musicians and recording people ourselves, we've asked that question too. So each Generation 2 Rokit comes with an Input Volume Control that provides an adjustable gain range from +6dB to -30dB. Just another way the Rokit lets you focus on your mix, and not on compatibility concerns.

Catch A Wave, For A 3D Mix

Recessed tweeters may look the same, but they don't perform the same. KRK has designed a superior tweeter wave guide for the Rokit that provides optimal high frequency pattern control and focuses the sound outward, away from the cabinet. More conventional designs direct sound along the plane of the cabinet where waveform interaction can cause phase problems and increased diffraction. KRK knows a properly engineered high frequency wave guide is a critical component to great sound, and one key to our award winning performance.

You’ve Got Connections

At KRK our focus is your mix. But it doesn't stop at creating accurate monitors. We live this stuff and appreciate the need for monitors that not only sound great but work easily into your particular set up. That's why you'll find plenty of input options with your Rokit, sure to accommodate any studio environment. So if it's RCA, Quarter-Inch (balanced/unbalanced) or XLR inputs you require, Rokit has got you covered.

Even More Accurate Than Before

We took a great monitor series and made it better. Our engineers and listening panel took the Generation 2 Rokits’ speaker voicing to even more accurate levels. What you hear is what you are intended to hear, coloration is not part of the spec. This performance is brought to you by drivers that are custom-designed by our world-class studio monitor engineering team, for clear, low-distortion performance.

Take Control

While your Generation 2 Rokit leaves the factory voiced to our demanding specs, KRK also knows that no two rooms "sound" the same. As such, each Rokit comes equipped with a High Frequency Level Control. This feature provides specific adjustment of high frequency output most commonly affected by room acoustics. It's just one extra level of control that KRK gives you to ensure the most accurate mix for your particular room's acoustics.

Don’t Be Square, Curves Ahead

Our new Rokit looks different, so it can sound better, and in a wider "sweet spot". Traditional rectangular speakers suffer from diffraction as sounds leaving the edge of the cabinet are reflected back into the original sound field, and at different time intervals. This phase distortion creates a "narrow" or boxy" sound. The Generation 2 Rokit series eliminates this issue with radically engineered curved surfaces, so diffraction is virtually eliminated. Simply put, you'll get better sound in a wider area.

Let’s Be Up Front

Take a look at competitive monitors and you'll find ports on the back of the cabinet. These rear-firing ports tend create bass coupling with walls and corners amplifying low frequency information which will color your mix. The superior design of the KRK Generation 2 Rokit’s include front-firing ports, which are just the right shape and taper to reduce port turbulence. You'll appreciate the clean and accurate bass performance, this approach delivers, even at high SPL’s.

Power Up!

A great sounding monitor doesn’t stop with a great cabinet and custom drivers. Our true bi-amplified amplifier system provides discrete low-distortion power for each driver. While our active crossover systems provide smooth and accurate frequency response, and again, accurate diffraction control.

Allen & Heath XD-40 DJ Headphones

The Xone XD-40 offer excellent audio fidelity in a comfortable, lightweight and compact format. The closed cup design provides good isolation from ambient noise, and minimal bleed. The extended, punchy bottom end is complemented by a crisp and detailed mid and upper range. They are light and well padded, making them more comfortable and less fatiguing for extended use.

Whirlwind 20ft. 1/4 Quarter Inch Cable

High-performance instrument cable!
For more than 30 years, Whirlwind has been producing high-quality audio cables with musicians in mind. You can benefit from their experience on the stage or in the studio with their standard instrument cable, the GC20. Its 20-foot length is perfect for live settings. You can put some distance between you and your amp without excess coils to trip over. You'll have enough length for your bandmates to cross behind you without getting clothes-lined.

Versatile 1/4 in. connectors
The 1/4 in. cable serves many functions in a musician's rig. They typically run from a guitar, bass, or keyboard out to an amplifier or effects unit. As patch cables, they often connect rack processors and powered monitors to the rest of your gear. In the studio, mixer inserts and direct outputs usually have a 1/4 in. connection. The GC20 is a 1/4 in. to 1/4 in. cable specifically engineered for reliable operation in any of these settings.

Rugged components for road-use
As with all their cables, GC20's are built to Whirlwind's exacting specifications, using only the finest components. The 1/4 in. connectors have excellent strain-relief to prevent damage no matter how many times you plug and unplug them. Whether your cables stay connected in the studio or you take them out on the road, you'll have years of trouble-free use. No more tedious hours spent looking for a short circuit.

Flexible and durable
On tour, instrument cables come out of the van, get uncoiled for the show, then wrapped up again for the trip to the next venue. They get stepped on, tucked under amp-handles, and tripped-over. All this wear can take its toll, leading to cracks, shorts, and ultimately, poor sound quality. Whirlwind uses a finely stranded 20-gauge wire for the GC20's center core, and a strong, supple outer-shield to guard against scuffs and pinches. Your cables will have the toughness and flexibility to stand up to heavy road abuse, no matter how long you're on tour. No one wants to hunt for a music store 20 minutes before the gig, so make sure your cables are reliable and ready to rock when you are.Description goes here
