Namm 2011: M-Audio Venom Keyboard FIRST LOOK

Avid introduces a new Virtual Analog synth in the M-Audio line called Venom.  Looks like a sampling synthesizer with on board DSP for effects.  All the layering and multi functions you’d want for playing live, and an on screen software editor for when you’re programming sounds in the studio. Arpegiator, sequencer, all the fancy stuff you’d want on board, but nothing apparently new or ground breaking from the looks of this video. Still for $599 street price seems like a powerfull unit if you need some synth sounds on stage or in the studio. Wouldn’t be surprised if the USB port gave you midi control functionality as well.
