Excellent Condensor Vocal Mic

We have 4 of these in our mic chest and could not be more pleased. We prefer the 87c over the 87a - basically the same microphone, but the a has a much tighter pattern. The 87c works well on our stage with singers who don\'t want to stay behind the mic.Rating
We find that this mic does not work the best for some female voices, it can get a little \"shrill\". We prefer the Beta 58a for females, which is a very high quality (non-condenser) mic.
The Shure SM58 is the workhorse of many traveling bands - the Beta 58a is an upgrade. (Posted on 10/1/10)
