simply amazing, worth every penny

The JBL STX835's are without a doubt some of the best sounding mobile loudspeakers I've ever heard. I bought a pair of these for my DJ rig with the intention of later purchasing a pair of the STX828s' to fill out the lows. After taking them out to a friends house in the country and pushing them as hard as I could without showing red on any levels with a Crown xti 6002 and my Allen & Heath Xone DB4 mixer, I've realized I won't be needing those subs anytime soon. The lows are impressive, to say the least. The speakers generate incredible detail, clarity, and depth that can be heard at any volume. Worthy of the hottest clubs or the biggest festivals. My Yamaha studio monitors sound so insignificant now that I have these bad boys. I have been in a couple bands, traveled with a touring band as a roadie, and am an avid club, concert, and festival attendee. I've heard a lot of speakers, and these are easily among the best. Couldn't recommend them enough for any application.
