DH15H
The DarkHorse 15H all-tube guitar head is destined to be an instant classic. Fifteen watts of all-tube tone in a sub-compact head and cabinet combination specifically designed with the travelling musician in mind.
Simple Gain, Bass, Treble and Master controls allow easy access to the perfect amp sound on stage or in the studio. A Tonestack switch allows for either Brit or USA voicings or the "Pure" mode which bypasses the tone stack entirely, delivering a mid and overall gain boost allowing for the most direct signal path possible between your fingers and the speaker.
Selectable output power switches between two separate output stages - a higher headroom 15-watt pentode stage or a 2-watt triode stage for increased drive. A combination of 8 and 16-ohm outputs allows the DarkHorse to drive virtually any cabinet configuration.
DHX12
Designed to suit any player's needs and personal taste, the DarkHorse DHX12 extension cabinet features a Celestion G12M Greenback and removable back panel that can be converted from a closed to an open back cabinet quickly and easily.

Great Amp - Great Price

I spent quite a while searching for the perfect tube amp on the lunch-box market. I was looking for something representing superior build quality, fender-like clean tones, thick overdrive, something loud-enough for gigs, quiet enough for a family home in NYC, and light enough to schlep to and from locations without needing a van. By far, the Traynor Darkhorse represents this perfect mix of features for the right price thanks to the folks at Audio Star.Rating
TONE: The USA, Brit, and Pure settings are well described in their user guide - but from a playability standpoint - USA gives you a beautiful Fender-style clean tone with virtually no break-up, Brit offers the familiar mid-gain crunch, and Pure represents one of the fullest signal boosts you can have (adding nearly 1 Watt output power on 12AU7 mode, and about 2-3 Watts on 6V6 mode). The tone is very present regardless of settings dialed in, and in spite of being a single-channel device, the interface is extremely easy to tweak on the fly!
SPEAKER CAB: Super simple cabinet, extremely well built. No padding was required on shipping and you will see why once you open it. Closed back by default - but even after opening the back to open up the tone, the components and speaker cone are still guarded. No complaints here.
FEATURES: Without a doubt - it\'s a piece of cake to set up and turn on. The gig-bag is extremely well padded, with a small pocket to help manage cables. The controls are very simple to manage, and while it takes time to find the nuances of tone particular to your guitar, I was able to get extremely responsive, beautifully matched tone within the first few hours. Having the ability to crank beautiful tones at low levels also made this deal for me, as most other lunch-boxes required far more volume than I was capable of playing with at home.
