Characteristics such as Class A and Class AB interactions, phase inverter topologies, parallel preamp paths, and much more were modeled with remarkable detail. Dial In the Tones You Want
Besides having a wide selection of tones with authentic character and articulation, the POD HD Pro is easy to program, set up, and use. While the POD HD Pro packs some impressive technology, the layout is simple and intuitive, just like a real amp. All the controls you need for tone tweaking are on the front panel. And to dive deep into the raw power of the POD HD Pro, you get the POD HD Pro Edit editor software, allows you to customize every aspect of your tone. A full set of presets gives you a clear idea of what the POD HD Pro can do, and you can store tones in its 512 user-preset storage locations. When you're ready to define your own sound, don't hold back; there's no limit to the tones you can create with your POD HD Pro!
Flexible Connectivity
Designed for stage and studio, the Line 6 POD HD Pro features a diverse set of inputs and outputs. The front panel has jacks to plug in your guitar or an XLR mic cable, and the POD HD Pro has phantom power to power your condenser mics. The back is full of inputs and outputs. You can connect up in a ton of ways, including stereo line ins, S/PDIF ins and outs, MIDI I/O, stereo effects loop, Variax input, AES/UBE digital I/O, and many more. The POD HD Pro is ready for stage and studio.
L6 Link
The exclusive L6 Link lets you connect with tube-powered tone Valhalla. With L6 Link, you can plug your POD HD Pro directly into the Line 6 DT series of tube amps, were designed by Reinhold Bogner. The POD HD Pro then controls the amp, choosing whether it runs in Class A or Class AB mode, and it further tweaks the tube amp to produce the most accurate sound possible. Add this to the Line 6 Variax, and you have a true dream rig.
