Product Description for the Elation Compu Cue Basic
Compu Live is a DMX lighting software to be used with any type of lighting fixture which utilizes USITT DMX-512 digital signal for communication. The Compu Live software has powerful tools to help in creating and generating scenes, cues, chases and shows easily. This Software also features pre generated movements, such as circles, figure eights, sweeps, stars and polygons, to assist in easy and fast programming.
Compu Live also comes standard with a powerful 3D Visualization software named 3D Easy View which allows you to easily create a scenario of your imagination using Studio 3D object formatting. Basic Objects and truss structures are included to help in getting started right away, and lighting fixtures are instantly inputted as soon as you create a page in the Compu Live software. Basic version of 3D easy view is available on Compu 1024EC.
For Advance 3D feature you must use the Compu 2048FC or 2048FC+ Advance features offer 3D video capture with positioning, 2D set up views, report management printing (which prints out wire frame CAD style images along with position and DMX channels charts).
For the advanced lighting programmer, Compu Live also features Easy Show. This powerful software is created to help synchronize lighting scenes or cues to music, using a time line format. Easy Show is easily accessible via Compu Live when used in conjunction with Compu 2048FC or Compu 2048FC+.
Compu Live Software is to be used with the following hardware modules: Compu 1024EC, Compu 2048FC, and Compu 2048FC+.

COMPU 1024EC is will be your Basic Lighting controller. You can program and play back anything you want and use the Basic 3D visualizer features to set up your shows.
Compu 1024EC allows you to use MIDI in or DMX in to use other devices as expansion wings. This option allows you to have an external console to access dimmers, shutters or color wheels. Compu 1024EC has one DMX out port and one DMX in port. Which give you 512 output channels and 512 input channels.
However you can sacrifice the 512 input channels and convert to an extra 512 out put channels using a female to female barrel or gender changer for a total of 1024 DMX output channels. Additionally Compu 1024EC will give you an extra 1024 Art-Net DMX channels through your Ethernet output using an Art-net DMX hub.
COMPU 2048FC is the full version Lighting controller. You can do everything available with the 1024EC, however you will have the full version 3D visualizer plus the use and integration of Easy show. A time line program used to synchronize a light show to music. Compu 1048FC allows integration of SYMPTE TIME CODE as well of the use of your computers internal clock for synchronized or timed shows. Compu 2048FC has one DMX out put and one DMX in put. Which give you 512 output channels and 512 input channels.
