Product Description for the CAD GXL-2200SP Studio Pack
The GXL2200 is condenser microphone consists of a thin conductive membrane stretched very close to a stationary plate. High voltage is applied between the membrane and the plate. As the membrane vibrates, electrons move. These moving electrons are sensed as voltage. This voltage can be strengthened (but not necessarily increased) by silicon. The GXL2200 is inspired cosmetically, mechanically, and electrically by early generations of European masters. Features include (but are not limited to) an internal hi-pass filter. Elastic shock mount and protective pouch are included. P48 (48V) phantom power is required.
The GXL-1200 is a small diaphragm condenser microphone with a cardioid pattern, also effective in minimizing noise, ambiance and feedback. The high SPL handling enables excessively loud audio signals to be reproduced without noise or distortion. The GLX-1200 is housed in a slim profile, rugged enclosure ideal for spot capturing vocals and instruments such as guitar, strings, wood winds, overheads, cymbals, percussion and more.

- The included pop filter effectively suppresses noise caused by plosives and sibilance.
