Great for Studio - Not for Club DJ\'n
Review by TONY spinning G -
Ease of UseRating
They\'re headphones, you plug them in, they work. The oval shape of the cups are for using them the standard way - over your head and not craddled on your shoulder like when you DJ.
Quality
The build feels good. They\'ve been in and out of my bag and have not ripped, hipped, or broken. The sound is really nice and clear. Mides and highs sound great. Lows/Bass is good as long as it\'s in the studio or at home. I WOULD NOT
RECOMMEND THESE FOR DJ USE OUTSIDE OF THE HOME OR STUDIO. Once you put the volume up really high on a mixer, the bass does not sound so great and it is hard to hear over the crowd and loud music.
Features
The cord is a nice length. It comes with a gold quarter inch plug so you can use them on an mp3 player and then add the plug to fit into a mixer. Once you put them on, you immediately notice that you can\'t hear anything from the outside. I do like that the cups fold in nicely and can be stored away easily.
Value
Overall value is good. I\'ve had this pair for over a year and they still sound great and have not chipped, cracked, or broken. A good buy for DJ\'n at home or use in a studio. (Posted on 3/9/11)

Sound great!
Review by Joey -
The 280 Pro headphones are awesome for the price! They fit nicely and are comfortable for lengthy recording sessions. They provide clear sound and pretty good isolation during loud sessions. I probably wouldn\'t mix on them, but if it came down to it, they would do the job for a short session.Rating
All in all, I am very happy with the HD 280 Pros. (Posted on 1/25/11)
