Great wide dynamc Sound

I used the BeyerDynamic DT150's and Technics RP-DJ1200 as well as the Sony MDRv-700, the XD53's were better in terms of construction, the sound through mixing desk as well as laptop is sweet. For some reason, I do prefer their Xone XD-40, the build is beautiful and light. I have to admit the Audio Technica Ath-Pro700Mk2 Professional Dj Monitor Headphones With 53Mm Drivers are the best on the market, but I would still opt for the XD-40's for some reason (Posted on 3/16/12)

Great Cans!

I was thinking about getting the Dre Beats but I just felt the sound wasn\'t good enough. Yeah, they are loud but sounded muffled to me. Especially on the high end. So after doing A LOT of research as well as quality confirmation from fellow DJs I got in touch with ProAudioStar and got a great price so I got em. Worth every penny and then some. Clear on the highs and the lows. Definitely loud enough. I used to crank up the gain on the headphone on my mixer and it still wasn\'t enough. With these I have the gain set at 1/4 and up to a 1/2 at the very most. These cans are great and so are the ProAudioStar Crew! (Posted on 3/12/11)

This is my second purchase with ProAudioStar and they have exceeded my expectations yet again. They had great advice when comparing the cans I had in mind and helped me settle on the best one\'s for me. The XD-53\'s blew me away when I heard the clarity of the highs, mids, and lows. I mix a lot of hip-hop and had no distortion on the lows what so ever. The sound isolation of the headphones in the club was remarkable and made blending much easier. The XD-53\'s are definitely great for the price (especially when working with ProAudioStar they beat every price I found on the internet). (Posted on 10/12/10)

Amazing non-bias headphones

These headphones are great to take in a jammed DJ bag as they can fold away very easily! Would also recommend for the producer/DJ as these headphones do not have a low end bias (Beats by Dre\'s are a prime example) so you get exactly what you heard in the studio. Fast shipping, I will definitely stick with these guys as they\'re really the best and most affordable supplier, as is very important to beginning DJ\'s on a budget. Thanks a lot guys! Headphones: The Allen & Heath Xone XD-53 headphones are some of the clearest sounding cans I’ve heard in a long time. I’ve used the Sony MDR V700 headphones for about two years, and due to a construction malfunction decided to upgrade to the XD-53’s. Well…as I have been hearing for the past month, the 700’s were not only poor in construction, but also lacking in sound quality. There isn’t a single thing you can’t hear with the XD-53’s. High’s are CRI$P, Meds are $olid, and Bass is $pot on. Every aspect of any genre is perfectly produced by these headphones. They don’t lose any quality with an increase or decrease in volume, and they sound exactly how the noise is coming out of your speakers. I have a small head and they fit snug, that said, they expand very largely and seem as if they will fit anyone with a larger head superbly. You get what you pay for, and I am more than ecstatic about the quality of build and the quality of sound!

Experience: I purchased the Allen & Heath Xone XD-53 headphones from ProAudioStar (PAS). I was initially going to purchase them from Amazon because they were offering the best price, but one of the PAS crew members sent me an instant message asking if he could offer me a better than listed price on anything I might be interested in. I told him I was looking at the XD-53’s and that Amazon was offering them at below anyone’s advertised price; I told him the price being offered, sent him the link to verify that it was true. I told him that if PAS could match the price I would buy from them, he quickly responded by undercutting Amazon’s price and offering free shipping. I thought to myself, this price and expedient service is too good to be true, but when my cans arrived unopened and in perfect working condition one day early I was relieved and shocked. Shocked because I don’t know if these guys are just crazy, cool, or both, but I will definitely be purchasing from them again. Thank you ProAudioStar for offering the best of everything!
